Verse 1:
I had a dream that Mother Earth was dying.
Every kingdom on this Earth was crying.
She lay there, helpless. Humankind reached out to take her hand.
"We're sorry." But she said, "You need to understand,"
Verse 2 (Mother Earth sings):
"You depend on me for life, so if I die,
You cannot live on no matter how you try.
It's not too late to save yourselves, but first you must save me.
We can survive. We can change our destiny!"
Chorus:
If Earth lives on forever, we can survive.
'Cause life goes on forever. Let's keep our world alive.
Verse 3 (Mother Earth sings):
"So teach yourselves and all your children how to live.
If you take from me, then you must also give.
Every species everywhere is singing nature's song,
Please dance with me, and I'll help you sing along!"
Chorus:
If Earth lives on forever, we can survive.
'Cause life goes on forever. Let's keep our world alive.
Bridge:
I woke up to a brand new day.
(Background vocals: It was wonderful!)
Nature spread her wings, oh, she was beautiful!
We must preserve, we must keep green our home, our family.
So future generations can live in harmony!
Chorus:
If Earth lives on forever, we can survive.
'Cause life goes on forever. Let's keep our world alive!
